Alfred George BENTLEY born 10.08.1925 married 26.03.1949 Irene Patricia (Pat) MURPHY born 13.06.1926. They were married in St. George's Cathedral, Perth and renewed their vows at Our Lady of Victoria Church in Wembley, Western Australia on 04.10.1962.


Alf was the fastest man in his age group in the A.U.S.S.I. Inglewood marathon. Pat has taken part in two marathons, 15 hundred metres and the 3 thousand metres. 1989...

Alf passed away, aged 78 years, in Perth, Western Australia on 2nd October 2003 and has a memorial plaque in Karratta Cemetery in Perth.
